Core Productivity Keyboard Shortcuts

Alt+Tab, Task Switcher, tap and release to alternate between current and last window. This usage pattern comes up a lot.
Ctrl+Alt+Tab, open task switcher and leave it open
- press spacebar or enter to toggle to previous window
- press tab to select window
Win+Tab, open task view
Ctrl+Win+<left/right arrow>, move between virtual desktops
Win+S, Windows search

Ctrl+Win+Shift+b, resets the video driver; it's good for clearing up stray video artifacts left on the screen
Win + ~, open and close quake style terminal

To press Ctrl+Alt+Del in the RDP session run on-screen keyboard (osk.exe) and hold Ctrl+Alt and click Delete
- Alternatively, press Shift 5 times and only enable sticky keys on the RDP session and press Ctrl, Alt and then Delete
Ctrl+Alt+Home, escape out of RDP window back to client machine; it actually activates the connection bar, which has the effect of escaping the keyboard/mouse from the remote machine; this is handy to break out of the remote machine and do something like bring up task switcher on the local machine
