Windows Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Win+x, quick links menu for common things
  • Ctrl+Shift+v to paste unformatted text
  • Win+., insert emoji

RDP Sessions

  • To press Ctrl+Alt+Del in the RDP session run on-screen keyboard (osk.exe) and hold Ctrl+Alt and click Delete
    • Alternatively, press Shift 5 times and only enable sticky keys on the RDP session and press Ctrl, Alt and then Delete
  • Ctrl+Alt+Home, escape from RDP window back to local machine. Good for escaping from remote machine to use keyboard shorts on local machine.
